The discovery of Lycogen^TM

The patent strain (WL-APD911) was developed by Asia-Pacific Biotech Developing Inc. The initial effectiveness is uncertain. Lycogen is a dark red compound, we thought that may be the same as Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid as a food coloring (or color additive) for specific uses in animal and fish foods. Our partner Jy Lin Co., Ltd., trading company rapidly became Taiwan's leading exporter of ornamental fish, in order to check function of Lycogen Mr. Lin,Yu- Ho feeding Cichlasoma var. with Lycogen.

The original Cichlasoma var. was blood color but become white after feeding Lycogen^TM. After this incident, we figured out that maybe Lycogen had whitening function. Confirmed with cell and animal experiments, Lycogen^TM was provided with melatonin whitening, anti-aging, wrinkle, and inhibit UV-induced collagen breakdown, promote collagen and anti-inflammatory capacity.
